Mr. Villasana opened the classroom door. Everyone shrieked with excitement for another exciting Monday.

First we did our morning meeting. Everyone was thrilled to hear that we got a new student teacher named Ms. Hughes. She was going to be with us for 3 weeks Monday - Wednesday. After we introduced our selves, we shared weekend updates and current events. After that Katlynn showed us her growth plan.

Suddenly it was time for writing. We were either writing our story's on paper or typing our story on our handheld's. I saw Adriana typing her story on her handheld, to properly publish it. Right after writing we all rushed in line to peacefully walk to science.

When we got back from science, we did word study. We started a new sort today. Now we are doing word study activities in our word study notebooks. I spotted Logan and Chandler getting the job done. Next we all dashed out for recess, after recess we went to lunch. And then finally it was time for art.

Right after art it was time for reading. Everybody was reading their interesting chapter books they had chosen from our classroom library. I checked out Seth and Kayla. They were reading their chapter books quietly.

Soon it was math time. We were either working on our study guides, working on a page in our math workbooks, or playing close to 1,000. I saw Sarah F. and Delayne doing their worksheet in their math workbooks.

As soon as math was over it was time for agendas. We all strolled to our desks searching in our desks to find our agendas. We all sat down at the carpet writing down stuff we need to know. After we were all done with agendas and all done with packing up, we lined up. While everyone was wondering what would happen tomorrow.
