The Secondary Enrollment Planning Committee proposed three
unique approaches for public review
in October. After reviewing the public comments, the committee recommended a tweaked version of Approach B to the Board
of Education for approval in January 2012. The new boundaries were
approved by the Board of Education in February 2012 and will go into effect in the fall of 2013.
The approach converts Columbia Public Schools' secondary boundaries to six intermediate schools serving grades 6-8 and three high schools serving grades 9-12. You can view
these maps below.
To see your school boundaries in 2013, you can search your street address on the
maps below. Locate your home address by clicking on each map. You will then be redirected to a Google site containing a more detailed street map. Using standard Google tools you will be able to locate your home address in the
new intermediate and high school attendance areas.
