Attention Senior A+ Students!

Graduating seniors who meet all A+ Program requirements will be eligible for the benefits of the A+ program. Seniors are responsible for making sure that they have all requirements-including the tutoring requirement-met before graduation. Seniors in the A+ Program should check their current status in the program with Ms. Moore in Guidance by March 18th.

"Missouri's Career Report Cards"

"Missouri's Career Report Cards" can assist students in not only choosing a career but also Missouri's economic outlook for those occupations. Career Report Cards assign academic letter grades to occupations based on their economic outlook over the next decade--with Grade-A jobs having the best outlook and Grade-F jobs having the worst outlook. Grades were based on: (a) job openings, (b) percent growth, and (c) average wages. (Click to open.)

The A+ Schools Program At Rock Bridge High School

RBHS students are encouraged to sign up to be a part of the A+ Schools Program. This may qualify students to receive the A+ Student Financial Incentive: two years of general fees and tuition reimbursement at any Missouri public two-year community college or vocational/technical school (contingent upon availability of funds and appropriation by the state legislature).

Program Requirements
To qualify for the A+ Student Financial Incentive students must:

Complete a written A+ Schools Agreement;
Attend a designated A+ high school for three consecutive years prior to graduation.
Earn a grade point average of 2.5 or higher in grades 9-12 (on a 4.0 scale);
Maintain a 95 percent attendance record in grades 9-12;
Perform 50 hours of unpaid tutoring or mentoring;
Maintain a record of good citizenship and avoid the use of alcohol and other unlawful drugs;
Attend a Missouri community college or post-secondary vocational/technical school on a full-time basis and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher

The A+ Schools Program’s student financial incentive will be available for up to two (2) years of attendance during the four-year period after graduation from high school. To access the funds, participants must:

Submit a Free Application for Financial Student Aid (FAFSA) form (second semester of their senior year). FAFSA Application and Information
