Percussionists spend Friday night their way

Rehearsing after school Friday, senior Evan Flanagin practices his part on a percussion ensemble piece entitled Hemispheres.

While most students ran out the door Friday, May 11, those in the Rock Bridge percussion ensemble were otherwise occupied.

The 5th annual Rock Bridge Night of Percussion was at 7 p.m. in the PAC for friends and family of the percussionists. The ensemble stayed after school to get some last minute rehearsal time in before grabbing a quick dinner and then returning for their concert. The concert featured two full ensemble pieces as well as solos by senior Methma Udawatta and junior David Wang.
