It’s that time of year again, when spring sports reclaim their members, and although I am not a fan of most athletics, I absolutely enjoy watching the running, jumping and throwing that happens in track and field.
Coach Blackburn leads this particular collection of sports, and is always inspirational and hardworking.
Warmups are standard, and a rare time when runners, sprinters, jumpers, and throwers get to work side by side.
Throwers like Shy-Leah Jones display impressive amounts of power.
I think my favorite group to watch is the jumpers. Makayla Jones is just a freshman, but she’s already quite good.
Jumpers are so graceful.
They always look like they’re effortlessly flying.
But do you want to know a secret?
I think runners have the most fun!
