Fashion Show brings culture to RBHS

Lights flash as skinny, perfect models strut down runways during fashion week.

Designers show their inspirational work, as each move and fall is criticized by the clothing entrepreneurial world. Music sounds as heels click down the runways, walked by professional models.

However, at RBHS the runway during Global Village week is reserved for the students that walk the hall daily.

For sophomore Inas, Syed the week has been filled with a new view of RBHS’s multicultural community, and has influenced her to join in on the celebration of culture, by partaking in the annual fashion which presents the students with an exuberant show showcasing the fashions of RBHS’s community.

Nerves were unquestionably in the air as Syed and other sophomores performing for the first time performing at the fashion show stepped foot into the spotlight, revealing their traditions through the fashion that they adorn.
