Girls basketball plays in quarterfinals Wednesday
The girls basketball team take on Waynesville (12-17) at 6 p.m. tomorrow in the sectional game at Rolla.
Senior guard Kelsey Harrington said the Bruins felt confident going into tonight after their first place finish at
districts. Still, she cautions the team must still take the postseason one game at a time.
We have to “take it one play at a time. We know that we should win this game but we can’t look past them,” Harrington said. “They’re a good team, but we have to focus on shutting their good players down. “
Although Waynseville has not had the most impressive season with a record below .500, Harrington said the Bruins could not take anything for granted.
There will be a spirit bus for anyone who wants to watch the game. The cost is $6; the sign-up sheet is in the activities office.
