Welcome to RBHS,
Rock Bridge is a student-centered comprehensive high school where students achieve at high levels. This is accomplished though a community of shared decision-making, collaboration, and a focus on student learning. We offer an extensive, comprehensive curriculum including strong core-curriculum, and wide-range of elective and Advanced Placement offerings. Our passionate staff regularly engages in interdisciplinary and content specific collaboration through Shared Planning and Professional Learning Teams. Their commitment to student learning and professional growth is the best in the state.
At Rock Bridge we have high expectations for our students and they respond exceptionally well. Our students are trusted and are responsible for their learning. Each year we have students earn National Merit Commended Scholar, Semi-Finalists, and Finalists status. Recently, we celebrated multiple students who have scored perfect on the ACT and SAT. Our students boast averages on the ACT of over 24 and over 80% of our students score a 3 or better on their Advanced Placement exams. We have amazing students who meet the high expectations of Rock Bridge.
Students and staff are involved outside of the classroom through athletic and academic teams, over 50 clubs, and multiple ways to be involved in the community through community service. Our athletic teams compete at the highest levels, students in the student athletic booster club, the “Bru Crew,” enthusiastically support our athletic teams and students in our Performing Arts programs deliver polished performances that delight and entertain audiences of all ages. One example of our community service opportunities for students is “Rock Bridge Reaches Out,” an award-winning program that serves in areas such as the Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center, The Central Missouri Food Bank and the Ronald McDonald House.
We are fortunate to have strong parent and community support. Parents and community members dedicate hundreds of hours annually to booster groups that support students involved in performing arts, athletics, and academics. The Rock Bridge PTSA provides tremendous support to our school, teachers, and students and individual parents and families work quietly behind the scenes to insure the success of our students. In addition, our partnership with State Farm Insurance Company--our Partner in Education for over 25 years--is truly a two-way mutually beneficial partnership.
Rock Bridge High School is truly a place “Where Learning is for Life” is lived and we celebrate a tremendous community, staff, and students.
