SpeechIt's time for the MSHSAA District Speech and Debate Tournament which will be held again at Rock Bridge High School, and we have many judge slots to fill, each taking about an hour and a half of your time. There is a small stipend of approximately $6 per round or hour judged.

The dates are Thursday, March 15 (afternoon and evening debate rounds) and all day Saturday, March 17 (individual speaking events).

Click here for the form that will show you the time slots that are available and describe the events that need judges--if you are willing to help us out, please complete the form and return it to me. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know!

This is an amazing event that brings in approximately 170 students from 18 schools in the mid-Missouri area to compete against one another in events such as poetry reading, dramatic interpretation, radio speaking, and debate. Many of the students have perfected their performances at tournaments throughout the year and are coming together at RBHS for district competition and a chance to earn the opportunity to compete at the state level.
