Rock Bridge High School opened in 1973. Forty-two acres of land for the future site of Rock Bridge High School was purchased in 1968.

The Rock Bridge mascot is the Bruins.
The school colors are green and gold.
The 2013-14 enrollment at Rock Bridge is 2,011. The enrollment in 1973 was 583.

Vision Statement: Rock Bridge High School will be a community in which students and staff inspire each other to become lifelong learners. This innovative community, founded upon the ideal of freedom with responsibility, will provide opportunities to help each student develop the skills necessary to be a contributing citizen of an ever-changing world. Students and staff will work together to create, serve, and achieve at the highest levels.
