Lee Expressive Arts Elementary School was established in 1904 and is located in the heart of downtown Columbia. It is the second-oldest school in Columbia. The original building was replaced with our current building in 1934.

Lee became an expressive arts school in 1990. The school gives students an opportunity to explore and experience art, music, movement, drama, literature, and the social and physical sciences through integrated extended classes. Students perform concerts and dramatic presentations, display visual art, attend local performances, and visit museums and galleries, to name a few!

The 2013-14 enrollment at Lee is 313.
