The Process:

Part I:  Research

• First, determine your ancestral origin by completing the Ethnic Form with your parents.
• Second, you will be placed in groups of like cultural backgrounds.
• Third, as a group, you will determine who is responsible for the following jobs:

Geography expert
Explorer Biographical expert
Cultural Contribution expert
Literary Folktale expert


Once jobs are determined, start your research by clicking onto the job description above.
 

 

     With your group you will create a Powerpoint to share your cultural contributions from your ancestral country.  (Links to pages that describe information on each powerpoint presentation are available.  View each page:  1, 2, 3,  and 4.)

Part III:  International Cultural Exchange Conference

     At the Conference, a display of your ancestral cultural contributions and information will be shared with family, friends, and community.  Displayed could be examples of ethnic foods, games, songs, and/or dances.
