Dear Parents ...
We’d like to thank all of you who took the time to complete our annual
Parent Satisfaction Survey. Your comments, ideas and support help us to
provide you with the best quality of parent education services possible.
Over 90% of those who completed the survey said that
they were very satisfied with our program, would recommend PAT to a
friend and that we helped them to be their child’s best first teacher.
Many of you commented positively about the support and encouragement you
receive each time you meet with your parent educator. Several parents
responded that they enjoy the information that we provide about child
development. The majority of parents appreciate all of the activity
ideas we share during the visits.
As usual, our group meetings and parent-child activity
events get high marks. In fact many parents would like for us to provide
even more events. As many of you know, the primary source of funding
that we receive from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary
Education (DESE) is targeted toward doing personal visits, so that is
where we focus the majority of our time and effort. However, we
consistently provide many more group meetings than DESE requires.
We’ll continue to ask for your feedback and great ideas
throughout the year as you meet with your parent educator, attend our
events and visit our website. We appreciate it when you let us know how
your family is enjoying the Parents As Teachers program and if there is
anything else we can do to make your experience a positive one.
