Elementary Mathematics
Mathematics in Columbia Public Schools at the elementary level is focused on a student's development and understanding of number and geometry. The curriculum is sequenced to align with our current understanding of how students learn mathematics, our parents' and community's expectations, and the expectations of our state assessments. This sequence includes the study of number, algebra, geometry, measurement, data analysis, and problem solving throughout a student's elementary career.
