Follow the instructions below to register for Microsoft Learning, a repostiory of online work-at-your-own-pace modules on many of Microsoft's most popular products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access!

NOTE: You will need to login to InsideCPS and look under the Employee Discounts, then click the Office Supplies link to be taken to the correct section for your access code.

a. Click on:  www.passport.net

b. Under the Sign up today section

c. Under Use an email address you already have click on Get started now

d. Follow the instructions to set up a Windows Live ID:

 

Step #1 - Create Windows Live ID

1.1 Create Credentials page

You will be prompted to enter:

E-mail address (work email)

Password (this is where you create your password)

Password reset question.

You will also need to complete the verification section.

Click Continue when done

1.2 Review and sign the Agreements page

Read the linked agreements (Microsoft terms of use & Microsoft online privacy statement) then type your email address in the prompt field:

Click I Accept when done

You will receive a message:

 “You’ve created credentials”

Click Continue

1.3 Verify your Windows Live ID Account

Check your email for a confirmation email from the Windows Live.

  1. Open the email from the Windows Live Team and click through the link under “Click this link to confirm your account.”
  2. You will get a message: “Your email address is verified.” Click OK to continue.

 

Step #2 Create Microsoft Learning Account

2.1 Activating your multi-use access code

  1. Go to: https://business.microsoftelearning.com/activate/.
  2.  Input your multiuse access code: Login to InsideCPS and look under Employee Discounts (Office Supplies) for your Access code(The code is case-sensitive. Be sure to include the dashes and do not enter any spaces) as well as your Work E-mail Address where prompted.  Be sure to read the Data Sharing Notice, and check the box. Click Send.
  3. Click Continue on the Sign In page
  4. If prompted, sign in using the Windows Live ID you created in step 1 (if you have not closed your browser since you set up your Windows Live ID, it you may still be logged in, and will not have to login again).

2.2 Accessing your Microsoft Learning Courses

  1. You will be taken to the Microsoft E-Learning for Business information page. Complete the personal information for your Microsoft E-Learning account. First name, last name and country are required.
  2. Click Continue to go to the Microsoft Learning page.
    1. If you are not taken to the Learning Page, close the window and go to https://business.microsoftelearning.com/. You may be asked to sign in again using your Windows Live ID.
  3. Click Learning Catalog.
  4. You may use the Learning Catalog filters to narrow your search. Select English from the Language drop-down menu to see a full listing of all courses offered in English. Using the Collection filter will allow you to filter by software application. Click a course title to launch the offering. You have 12 months from the time of launch to finish a course.
