There are labs at MU who are willing to host willing and dedicated HHS student researchers.  Start your independent research by the end of your junior year to maximize competition opportunities.

Current researchers and science competitors, be sure to check the sites below for major competitions.

2.  Siemens Science and Math Award.

     You MUST complete rules forms near the beginning of your research or you may be disqualified.
  1. Neuroscience Research Prize
  2. Young Epidemiology Award

Look for other competitions in science innovation, scholarship and research on the web.  Notify Dr. Close ASAP in order to fulfill rules requirements.

You, too, could gain fame, fortune, and personal satisfaction by participating in independent science research.
