Straight out of Detroit,
America's first
political rock and roll band. True, the politics needed work (the guys were
actually more excited about cars ‘n’ girls), and on this release,
there's more teen frustration than puttin' it to the
Man, anyway. The real point is the twin-guitar attack of Wayne Kramer and Fred "Sonic"
Smith; on songs like "Looking at You" and "The American
Ruse," they draw blood.
