I can only imagine the satisfaction egotistical athletes feel when they guarantee a victory, and come through with their promise on the field.  Kanye West knows how it feels.  Late Registration is West at his finest: quality production, an outstanding guest lineup, pop-radio hooks, and a sense of continuity often ignored for modern hip-hop albums.  Every song is worthy of being a single, and judging from the reception “Gold Digger” and “Touch the Sky” received, they’d probably all be chart toppers.
