Senior Year On-Site Program
Fairview Elementary staff and students are excited to be hosting MU student teachers for the full year. The Senior Year On-Site Program provides on-the job training and enriching experiences that will help them as then enter the professional world of teaching. The young ladies will be assisting in our classrooms three days a week during the Fall Semester. They will be assigned to a classroom teacher at Fairview for their student teaching for the Winter Semester. The senior students are: Nichole Lappin Cassandra Nelson Meredith Shanks Kelly Shehan Fairview also hosts student teachers from other universities and colleges around mid-Missouri. Student Teaching provides on-the-job training, and experiences to develop skills for teachers to enter the profession with some level of experience.
