There are 291 total beds in the facility.
On average, we treat 7,500 inpatients per year and provide services for more than 84,000 outpatient visits. There are approximately 15,000 individual veterans receiving health care services at HSTMVH.
We do not have a trauma team. Our emergency room is staffed by a physician and nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but we are not considered a trauma center.
There are more than 400 volunteers with regularly scheduled assignments and they provide in excess of 78,000 hours of service a year.
To stay in the hospital you would have to be an eligible veteran and your care would be provided to you at no cost. Therefore, it would not cost you anything to stay for two nights.
