Employees
of the Columbia Public School District are eligible to participate
in the voluntary retirement programs governed by Internal
Revenue Service rules & regulations. These programs
allow employees to make pre-tax contributions to the carrier
of their choice. Contribution limits are $17,000 for
2012 for each plan and $22,500 if you are age 50 or older.

NOTE: Individuals
wanting to make contributions out of their final sick leave
payout check, must make the declaration of the contribution
by the last day of employment, per IRS regulations.
