General Information

LONG DISTANCE TELEPHONE ACCESS CODES

For a Columbia Public School District employee to get a long distance telephone access code, the employee's supervisor must approve the request.  The supervisor must send a memo or email to the Secretary of Chief Financial Officer authorizing the employee to be assigned an access code.  The Business Services office will then process the request and the employee will be sent the confidential access code through email (See Procedure No. 762).

USE OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS

All individuals requesting to use District facilities for non-school District sponsored events must complete an Application and Permit for Use of School Buildings Form.

To find out the cost of reserving a room, an application must be completed and submitted to the Director of Athletics' Office.  The Director of Athletics will then determine the rental/supervision fees, if applicable.

The Application and Permit for Use of School Buildings Form is available at any school location, at the Director of Athletics' Office, or on this website.  The Director of Athletics' Office will send the completed application to the requested school for approval.  The school is responsible for arranging any supervision required or requests for use of equipment (see Procedure No. 701 below).

After receipt of the approvals from the school and the Director of Athletics, a copy of the approved permit will be mailed to the applicant and the school.  If the application is denied, an unapproved copy of the application will be mailed to the applicant.

The Director of Athletics' Office will invoice the applicant for any rental/supervision fees.  All fees must be made payable to Columbia Public Schools and sent to Columbia Public Schools, Director of Athletics, 1818 W. Worley Street, Columbia, Missouri 65203.  Prepayment of rental/supervision fees may be required.
